One day after Easter was the appointed time when Struana would be put to water and handed over. It was a memorable occasion, weather was perfect, and so was she. More or less everything worked perfectly so having loaded up on some beers, Sven Engler of X-Yachts Deutschland and I took Struana out into the fjord (which is of the Danish variety, flanked by gently undulating hills) towards the wider sea. There was no wind apart from a slight land breeze so the motor stayed on and it was a nice moment to see how well she manoeuvred, to throw in the anchor, raise a sail, etc. This wasn't the moment for either myself or Struana to be tested, that will no doubt come in the future.
